Next pit please

August 29, 2007 at 10:53 am (Uncategorized)

i did it again.

Everytime I wanted to give myself a break, I ended up falling into one pit after another.

I told myself I wanted to shake my hair loose and be a pampered kid at home for afew months after I graduated. BUT! Immediately after I graduated, i updated my resume and got a job in the city-of-gangster.

After a year, I decided that enough is enough. Life’s unfair when I am in the corporate world while my peers are still roaming in campuses. I took my heart and soul back from my boring home based job, get out of JB, threw a sum of money to some skinny landlady in PJ, added an ‘END DATE’ to the ‘EMPLOYEMENT DATE TO’ field in my Jobstreet’s resume and sit quietly for the employement notice to finish.

Dreams starts to develope, I want to travel, just like Kenny Sia – the rich brat, did.

Then… *THUNDER EFFECT*… came a job, too good to be true.

Yeh, it takes no genius to figure out what I did next. I went to the interview, brag my credits high, and landed myself into an multinational business organization. I totally blame my people skills now. *flick eyebrow twice* hehe

There goes my plan – Taman Negara, Gua Tempurung, Mount Kinabalu… all down the drain.

Then again, there’s nothing to felt sad for. I had China, Ghana, Senegal, Iran (etc) to look forward to already.

The Apology

August 17, 2007 at 6:51 am (Uncategorized)

Finally, Wee Meng Chee, or the so called Namewee, made his apology.

These are his words, according to The Star:

“I am proud to be a Malaysian and my loyalty to my country has not wavered even though I’m now studying in Taiwan”

(“Student rapper apologises”, The Star, 15 Aug 2007, “http://www.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2007/8/12/nation/18573048&sec=nation“)

Heh! He apologizes.

Okay la, I stop being so sacarstic la. I just thought he was reading some pre-written script without actually meaning a thing he said.

Not that he cared also. He’s curious about strumming his song in a prison cell anyway. Serious! He said that himself! (Now you understand why I was so sacarstic dee?)

While he doesn’t cared, ’they‘ doesn’t really care whether he meant it or not either. ‘They‘ just want to hear what they want to hear. Gain back their cracked ego.

I See Dead People

August 17, 2007 at 3:51 am (I am adventurous... I think)

I had the worst night, yesterday. I dreamt of ghosts. Can’t really recall it, but i remember waking up sweating, staring into the dark, calmed down, searched for Will for comfort, and return to sleep.

It didn’t came back afterwards.

Now I wonder if it has anything to do with the Hungry Ghost Festival.
