What I’m doing as of now…
I’m in my home town, waiting for time to tick away til it reaches 9.
Pau is right beside me, washing off her mascara as we get ready for our bus trip.
UncFutt’s and his batallion of people (AuntKim & Karyn), just managed to squeeze past Penang Bridge jam to get here.
TaYee (which means 3rd aunt in Hainan langugage) decided to take another bath. Damn hot here. I’d say I like Selangor’s rainy weather, but I’ll not want it to rain in Redang, so i’ll live with the heat now.
Mom and grandma stacking our bag (mostly FOOD bags), into the car boot.
Everyone’s hustling around … and I … I just blog. Hehe. I just block people’s path anyway. Tee Hee…
Golden Egg Noodle (王金板面)
Had been awhile since I last reviewed a makan place (eatery).
Had been very much into Emo-post lately… @_____,,______@.
No fun. Very brain sucking.

Golden Egg Noodle
Ze shop bragged of a “Secret Family Recipie”. They bragged.
Thing that attracted me was its choices of mee (noodles).

They have choices of seaweed, coriander, pumpkin and chili blended into dough and eggs to make deliciously flavoured pan-mee (flat noodles).
Usually, Pan-Mee’s were cut into flat strips, thin strips or torn into pinch-size pieces.
Will and I had to go twice to get our tongue on several choices:

Traditional sauce thin-strips pumpkin flavoured noodle

Spicy Soup with chili-flavoured flat noodles

Spicy Dried Thin-strip pan mee

Thick sauced (lor) pan-mee

And their prided mayo spring roll – which I thought was nice.
So far, the best dry pan-mee i’ve tried is the one at Taman Bukit Jambul Apartment, Penang. Followed with the one in JB, an independent shop in front of Pelangi Mall selling the best soup pan-mee.
Of course, none of the above rival with the pan-mee my PorPor (grandma) made. *grin*
